Sadie Amara Calvano is an actor from America that has gained fame by playing Violet Plunkett in the CBS sitcom "Mom'. Calvano has a family in California, and initially was fascinated by competitive gymnastics. However, she later chose to pursue a career in acting. Her screen debut was in an episode from 2010 on the CBS show 'NCIS. The actress made her debut on the big screen one year later on the Biographical Drama "J Edgar". Over the years she's established herself as one the most promising actors in today's field. She was nominated in 2011 for the Young Artist Award in the category of Outstanding Performance for Young Actresses 11-15 for her role in NCIS. In 2013, as an appearance in Disney XD's 'Kickin' It' comedy series and received a second nomination for an Young Artist Award. Calvano played a major role in "Mom", the series the first three seasons of, as well as making numerous appearances during Season four. Calvano's role being a rising star on Mom earned her the Gracie Allen Award, which is awarded to female actors.
